Born in Scandale (Italy) at 5.45am in 1949. He grew up in Reggio Emilia (Italia), studied music and learned from Gianfranco Masini’s lessons. He played the flute and has composed various scores. Today he writes and sings in comedy scenes which he loves. He sang at the beginning of his career with a white voice joining Pavaroti-Rodolfo in “Pappignol” in 1962. After this, he became interested in drama without forgetting his musical studies. He gained the maximum information of Daddy Tommaso, a popular Pulcinella from his town, and Mammy Mariu, who made velvet masks and the family.

He turned his theatrical experience into comedy. He left his first collegue, and went to work with Dario Fo in Milan, and afterwards with Jacques Lecoq in Paris. There he created delicious shows with Jean Pierre Chabrol. He also met Francoise Mitterand and Jaques Chirac for cultural projects and worked with Fellini in Italy.

He writes music, directs and performs. He can speak Italian, Spanish, English, French, Cantalán, Reggiano, Crotonese, Napoletano y Calabrese. He is an international director and works in different drama academies and colleges around the world as a Commedia dell’Arte master. He has travelled around world doing Commedia dell’Arte founded the “Scuola Internazionale dell’Attore Comico” and directed in Reggio Emilia. A school, that picks between seventy and eighty actors and actresses from all over the world and where every language is welcome.

His wife, Dina, is his manager, his son, Ferruccio (1994) and his dauther, Marcella (1988) are already artists.
